Dear customers, please note the following important information.

The European Union continues to introduce sanctions measures restricting the export of goods from EU countries to the Russian Federation. Since these lists of restrictions are updated regularly, it is necessary to always check the current lists of categories permitted and prohibited for shipment. We recommend verifying independently whether your item falls under the current sanctions.

EU documents include HS/TNVED classifiers and item descriptions. In particular, starting from page 31 of one of the decisions, you can find a list of “luxury” goods. Cost thresholds are specified for these categories: if no limit is indicated, the price per unit of goods must not exceed 300 euros. If the code is not listed, export is permitted regardless of price.

A full ban on the export and import of certain goods is established in document L 111/1 dated April 8, 2022. Additional clarifications and expanded lists of codes are contained in decision L 259 I dated October 6, 2022.

Brief excerpt on “luxury” goods:

Clothing, footwear, and bags valued at over 300 euros; electronics (smartphones, laptops, headphones, etc.) priced above 750 euros; musical instruments above 1,500 euros.

Briefly on the full ban:

Processors, drones, echo sounders, as well as used clothing and footwear, may not be exported to the Russian Federation.

Subsequent sanctions packages expanded the list of restrictions:

— ninth package: decision L 322 I/1 dated December 16, 2022;

— tenth package: number L 059I dated February 25, 2023;

— eleventh package: entered into force on June 23, 2023;

— February 24, 2024 and June 24, 2024: new restrictions, including a ban on sending smartphones, audio media, lighting equipment, audio equipment, and components to the Russian Federation;

— on July 20, 2025, the eighteenth package was adopted, banning the export of a number of industrial and household goods (metal and plastic products, fittings, ventilation equipment, detergents, furniture components, etc.).

In addition, a separate list of prohibited categories applies to imports into the Russian Federation:

extremist and pornographic materials, weapons and ammunition, narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, radioactive materials, plants, animals, ethyl alcohol, tobacco, cultural valuables, perishable goods, precious stones, as well as other categories established by regulatory acts.

This list is mandatory and must be taken into account for any shipments.
